Tara Eschenroeder

Tara “Becky” Eschenroeder

Teaching was Tara’s dharma long before she realized it. She grew up with a bow and arrow in her hands, learning to pull back with just enough aim and control to send her arrow into the abyss, knowing and trusting it would hit its intended mark. And so she enters each class, each workshop, each lesson. Having prepared her body and mind to become that bow - that vessel - that lets her lesson…letting that arrow fly…weaving its way into the provided space and landing wherever it is intended. When you practice with Tara, you get more than a teacher on the mat; you gain guidance for your daily life. Inside the studio, no two classes or workshops are ever the same. Students are not told what to do, they are empowered to listen to their own bodies. Tara recently moved to Asheville from Richmond, VA, and is ERYT200, ERYT500, RCYT, YACEP, self-published author, and a Certified Coach and Mentor.

Druminyasa

Druminyasa

“Druminyasa is about enhancing the energetic experience,” says founder Brad Ellsworth. “What I play is informed by the energy of the room.” Each class Brad plays is improvised, and many times, he is playing with a teacher he’s never worked with, so the practice requires a great deal of trust. However, Brad possesses an innate sensitivity to energy, which allows him to act simultaneously as both a reader of the room and a guide. It doesn’t hurt that he is a yoga teacher himself. “I have a good understanding of the yoga practice, so musically I have a good sense for what’s coming up,” he says. “I’ve often had teachers say, ‘Brad gets it.’”

Dat Dude Jonny

Dat Dude Jonny is just dat dude, named Jonny. See, before he was a certified yoga teacher or became the YTT Administrative Director for In Balance Yoga, or even before he was the Chief Yoga Officer of Metta Mats he was just a dude who began practicing yoga to heal, and grow, and climb back from rock bottom. His offerings aim to create a shared opportunity for folks to learn & grow TOGETHER with no judgment, no BS, and no pressure to think, move, or feel one way or the other. The goal being to create space to help you heal, or grow, or prevail, and if nothing else, just to have a human experience alongside your friendly, neighborhood yoga dude."

The Rileybirds

The Rileybirds

New Orleans-based husband-and-wife duo, Rachael and Joshua Riley play songs from the heart, born of the stillness and sacred love within. Their message is simple…“Relax, be loving.” Ranging from ancient mantras to conscious pop, their music draws inspiration from yoga and meditation. Their songwriting explores what it means to live honestly and deeply vulnerable, in order to realize Truth and be unconditional love.

LVDY

LVDY (pronounced LADY) is a Colorado-based duo comprised of Kathleen Hooper and Aubrey Mable. Their uplifting sound and intimate storytelling is a delightful recipe of singer-songwriter, indie-folk, with powerful melodies and harmonies that speak to the senses. Love anthems weave in and out of their messages, with simple yet important reminders that we’re not alone.

Their ethereal harmonies, musical warmth and meaningful lyrics find inspiration in the beauty of the outdoors. LVDY has supported incredible acts like LÉON, Joseph, Rising Appalachia, Joy Oladokun, Emily Scott Robinson, The National Parks, Brendan James and Morgan Saint and has traveled the world sharing their music.
